I am back at work already :( when the rest are pretty much still enjoying at the chalet that my cousin Diana has booked for her son, Darius aka DarDar. By the way, this minute when I was typing, I heard from my mum that DarDar is still running a temperature. I do wish he would get well soon. Probably he just need big amount of antibiotics call Jayden to put his temp down. Diana, if in any case you do need this prescription, let me know ;P I know where to get that.
Though I am working now but my mind is definitely not at work ;), it is still at the chalet probably because I have played too much over the weekend. It was really enjoyable and do hope to have more of these gatherings :D
We celebrated Darius's birthday on 10 Aug with a Barney show first to entertain the little kids. A birthday without a birthday cake and birthday song is never incomplete thus when Darius' birthday cake was brought out. Hoho...the kids went wild. It was a 3D Barney cake. Denden enjoyed himself too. He was clapping to the music and smiling non-stop. He was looking around while clapping as if seeking for acknowledgement that he was doing the right thing and not overdoing it :D.
The next day, we went out pretty early to grab our breakfast and to shop around Downtown East. Fun and laughter always follow us when we cousins bunched together and it happened again. After breakfast, we went to arcade to have a game or two. Well, it was supposed to be a game or two, ended up, we had more than that.
It has really been ages since I stepped into one and I have to admit that I am really old. Just one game only, I had to raise my white flag. I was really bushed. No joke! There was this game that my cousin Doreen thought me and her sister Janet how to play. This game was about waving our wands and hitting them onto the screen. We just continued hitting that for a while, I was so worried that we might just smashed the screen without our knowing. Ouch! No wonder, I felt the aching feeling on my arms now. So I got them from all the hitting or rather the 'exercising'. That reminds me that I have not been exercising for......X number of years????
Now, comes the best part.....:D :D :D
We took a group neoprint altogether. That was actually the best part of it. We do not always get the chance to take a family photo (immediate or extended one) that often so that was really a rare one! Hehehehhe....honestly, the finished product was 美的咯! Everyone one of us look Kawaiiiiiiiii.....even though I still cannot accept the fact that I had a flower on my head and hahahahahhahahaha....老板娘 actually had a strawberry on her head :D. The explantions given by the 'editor' (Doreen) was that she has given the rest the Tiaras and Crowns and none left for us. I do not have the photo with me thus would not be able to post proudly show to all. Waiting for my sis or maybe Diana to let us have one copy each.
After that crazy time at arcade, we adjourned to the small Ferris Wheel ride that we promised the 2 little boys. Must I really ride that? It was nothing compared to The Singapore Flyer but for someone who has acrophobia, that is definitely enough. Still I went ahead with it and I did not close my eyes at all, ok? I thought I would want to join my son and share that moment with him. Heheheheh...i then realised that I was not the only one who was afraid. Janet and Nicole (oops! sorry to divulge on that) both had the same problem with me :). Hmmmm.....it was not that bad actually :). Think I am game for more, you know?
Maybe is because of the exercising at the arcade, I was feeling tired and thus dozed off when my son was catching his nap. By the time I was up, it was time to set fire for the bbq. Only one guy, Derrick, was there initially to help with the starting of the fire. Should I admit that guys are still better with starting the fire? If I am not wrong, my cousin-in-law, was the one that got the firing starting. Anyway, hheheheheh...who cares, right? We GALS did our part also ok? We helped with preparing of the food ok? That was not easy also :P
Fun time always passes fast. Before I realised, it was time for me to go home. I thus had to leave my son in my mother and sister's care. I do know that DenDen is always in their good hands so not much worry.
My handphone has offically conked out. Wonder should I put the claim up to 老板娘 or her sister (Nicole) leh? Well, it was actually her son that took my Samsung for a bath with coffee....but it was her sister that contributed that cup coffee for her son. Hmmmmm.....I really need to think of that seriously.....;P
