 Chen Weilian's Concert & Sweetie's Birthday...:D @ 4/24/2006 01:44:00 PM apologies for a little mistake i've made in my previous post. in fact, on that very same day after i've sent out my post, i realised that Weilian's concert and Sweetie's birthday does not fall on the same day. they are a day apart....sorry sorry sorry...it's my fault. wellllll, not entirely my fault i shld say. it's my cousin's fault leh. that day when he told us he was going to invite us to his house, i remember very clearly that he said it was going to be on a saturday lor. anyway, all is over liao so whether it's my fault or his, we shan't harp on that liao lah....bottom line is, everything went by jus perfectly well....:D22 apr 2006it was drizzling on saturday when my sis and i were on our way to The Max Pavilion. i was still thinking: die liao! it is raining. would it dampen everyone's heart? would everyone decide not to go to Weilian's concert? well well well...none of that happen! we reached around 8+ and saw crowds. everyone was moving into the hall and ready to get seated. i was feeling so excited. thought tixs were given free and we were not given the best seats, nevertheless, we had a pretty good view of Weilian. there was a pretty big screen hanging in front. the concert started at around 8.30pm. my idol was dropped down from above singing the new song from the album...oooohhhhhhh....how nice was that!!!!!!! he continued singing 3 more songs before he invited his very first guest (he had invited 4 guests) .....jason! jason is his best friend from pss. looking at the way how jason took care of him, joked with him, made the crowd cheered for him, i was really touched. it really show that there is absolutely no boundaries when making friends. that also made me like jason more, too...;P after jason left, Weilian came back on stage to sing more songs.he had fantastic chemistry with all the special guests he invited, like Joi Chua. They sang 我真的受伤了. their voices just matched so well and it really makes one feel so intoxicated in their singing. can tell that quan yi feng dotes on him. when he came out with quan, you can tell from the way quan talked and it was really like a mother caring for the child. after hearing from quan, we then knew that in fact, WL was having a fever the previous night. he had an injection in order to bring down the fever...oh! poor boy! he must be feeling so pressurised and stressed with the whole concert...he must be very eagered to make the concert a success...he must be.....guess i shan't say too much if not others would feel that i'm getting abit too 花痴了.....:)the last guest to appear on stage was WL's best friend who is visually handicapped too. two of them put up a very good show together, singing and playing guitars together. in all, i think WL had to sing on stage for almost 2 hours. it is a known fact that he is not a smooth-talker but his voice is something that no one should doubt. can you imagine he has simply no flaws in his singing? ok ok...minus some parts when he forgotten the lyrics and some other time when he either entered the sing too fast or too slow. other than that, i really cannot find anymore fault with his performance liao. i mean, yes, as a beginner, he sure has more to learn, room for improvement but like i say again, his voice is something that is without doubt de....he reaches almost every high note and his voice really really really touched people's heart....i can't say that every single one is touched but then.....by saying 70-80% of them, i guess it's reasonable bah?coming to the very last song, 童话, can tell that he almost teared. was it cos of sigh of relief that the concert ended rather well? or was it cos he felt that he has not let anyone down? i cried when i heard him singing the last song and i really felt like 'sayang-ing' him....:(i will definitely support him all the way....though he might not be able to see anyone of us who is supporting him all the way but i'm sure he can feel and will appreciate it....like everyone who is supporting him, will not that we are standing behind him not cos of sympathy...he really touch us with his voice.23 apr 2006 little sweetie was sitting on the sofa when we arrived at her house. think she has just woken up not long ago from her afternoon nap. she must be overjoyed when we started giving her her birthday presents. wow! her small hands are sure too small for those big big big presents that we have gotten for her. meanwhile, her younger sis jus got up from her afternoon nap, too. guess she was abit overwhelmed to see so many of us thus she ended up crying...this darling took awhile to calm down and we had tried ways and means to pacify her but it was not that difficult actually ;) i was amazed by the birthday. guess not only me....all were amazed cos we have never actually seen a 3D cake before. can u imagine? hoh! how lucky can young kids be? sweetie likes barbie dolls but when i asked her sister (her sis was 3 yrs old) if she would like a similar cake...her reply was no...why? i asked. she then tell me, i like strawberry shortcake!!!!! this little darling told us she prefers strawberry shortcake! actually has a mind of her own already? goodness gracious!!! in my era, probably, we don't have such kind of 3D cake....how lucky can they be??? huh??? sweetie must be happy...wouldn't she??? i would be very very happy to have people celebrating my birthday and most importantly....got so many presents...... take note guys!!!!!! be prepared to shower me with lots and lots and lots of attention and presents on my birthday ok??????? ;P hmmmm....i also wan a 3D cake....let me have crayon shinchan, ok ok ok?
